Remembering all Seafarers & Mariners of Runcorn who sailed during WW1 & WW2

On the 3/9/19 we handed over to the people of Runcorn this memorial.

It will eventually go into Runcorn Cemetery after a section of the cemetery has been refurbished for the dedication to every Seafarer & Mariner who are buried there in a large communal grave with no headstones or markings of any kind.

The granite stone was donated by Northwich fireplace Centre, it was cut and polished by Johnathan Whiteside cut, shaped and polished it in his own time, the stone masons TC Robinson engraved it for free.
